A broad catalogue does not automatically create a sellable range.
For an importer or distributor, the real question is simpler: can the sales team identify the room, guide the customer to an appropriate product, put a real sample in their hands, and confirm the commercial details before a promise is made?
That is why PVC ceiling and wall panels, SPC flooring, and decorative wall surfaces should not be presented as interchangeable “interior boards.” They belong in one commercial conversation only when their roles are clear.
Luvie’s useful starting point is a controlled family of categories—not an inflated all-purpose package.
Start with the buying job, not a list of materials
Showroom visitors normally arrive with one of four jobs: refresh a ceiling or wall surface; choose a floor; add a limited decorative feature; or plan an outdoor surface. Each job requires different questions, samples and approvals.
If a salesperson starts with product names instead, the customer may leave with the wrong expectation about substrate, installation, finish or service life.
Give every Luvie category one clear role
PVC ceiling & wall panels
Use this category for an interior surface-and-trim discussion. Confirm the selected SKU, face finish, width, thickness, length, accessories and packing before quotation.
Luvie’s PVC ceiling catalogue lists regular panel widths including 200, 250 and 300 mm; the exact available thickness and finish remain SKU- and order-specific.
SPC flooring
Use this category for a flooring decision. The buyer needs construction, wear layer, underlay, size, locking system, colour, installation conditions and packing information—not a generic “waterproof floor” promise.
The Luvie SPC specification sheet lists core options from 3.5 to 8 mm and wear-layer options from 0.2 to 0.7 mm; confirm the chosen programme before selling it.
Gold-leaf grooved self-adhesive decorative panel
Use Luvie’s HG series as a controlled decorative refresh for dry interior feature areas.
It is a flexible self-adhesive panel with a white marble-look face and fine gold-leaf groove detail—not a substitute for rigid WPC cladding, structural panel or floor material.
The actual surface sample and substrate review should lead the sale.
Outdoor WPC decking
Keep WPC in a dedicated exterior category. It needs its own project review: board model, support system, fixing method, drainage, layout, accessory set and loading plan.
Luvie’s Z1, Z2 and Z3 decking profiles have different stated dimensions; do not sell an exterior system through a generic interior wall-panel conversation.
Build the commercial range in three levels
| Level | Purpose in the channel | What the team must control |
|---|---|---|
| Core stock | The finishes and formats the team can sample, explain and replenish with confidence. | Current sample board, product details, carton data and reorder process. |
| Showroom extension | Additional finishes that help close a design-led sale without turning into uncontrolled stock. | Availability check, lead-time indication and a written pre-order approval path. |
| Project / custom | Order-specific colours, configurations or mixed-category requirements. | Approved sample, final specification, quantity, packaging and loading confirmation before commitment. |
The point is not to assign a product to an arbitrary price tier. It is to know which items the market can see immediately, which need confirmation, and which must remain project-controlled.
This protects both sales credibility and working capital.
A range launch should create evidence, not just brochures
- Create a separate sample route for each category: PVC face and trim, SPC construction and décor, HG decorative surface, or outdoor WPC board and accessory set.
- Give sales staff a short discovery script: room or project type, substrate, installation route, country, quantity and decision timing.
- Use product-specific installation and care information. Do not copy one category’s claims into another product page or quotation.
- Record which samples produce repeat enquiries; then expand the range from evidence, not from an oversized first order.
Buyer FAQ
How many categories should a distributor launch first?
Start with the categories the sales team can explain, sample and support. A focused range with clear roles is safer than a broad first order built only from catalog pages.
Should every category be placed in one mixed container?
No. Confirm demand, MOQ, packing compatibility and handling for each selected SKU. The commercial range should lead the loading plan, not the other way around.
