WPC panels for Saudi ceilings: what needs approval?
Continuing a fluted wall finish across the ceiling can be an attractive design idea. It also changes the technical question: a panel marketed for a vertical wall is not automatically approved for overhead installation. Saudi project buyers should resolve that distinction before a ceiling finish appears as a confirmed line in the purchase order.
Ask for written confirmation that the exact panel and complete mounting system are intended for the proposed ceiling. Have the responsible project professional assess the support and applicable requirements. If documented suitability is unavailable, consider a ceiling-specific alternative instead of assuming that a wall installation method will work overhead.
Define the actual ceiling application
Identify the building use, installation height, room conditions and whether the finish is continuous or divided into separate areas.
